My name is David Dufresne and in the summer of 2011 I will have graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor's Degree in Kindergarten and Elementary School Education.

Throughout my educational journey, I was lucky enough to be taught by great teachers at all levels of education. Having had such wonderful experiences as a student, I viewed teaching as not only an opportunity to work with young, eager learners, but also a chance to foster and encourage positive learning experiences in a similar manner to my former teachers, which I believe cultivates an environment where learning can be seen as a fun and enjoyable.


It is a pleasure for me to share my various educational experiences and reflections on teaching. The contents of this portfolio should provide you with an image of who I am as a teacher, my educational goals, and it should present my overall passion that I have for teaching.
